As expected Mac OS X comes with a GUI. The application is called 'Directory Access'. You will need on be an administrator to use edit this information.

On opening Directory Access you see the Services tab, with the various services listed. Notice the padlock at the bottom left-hand corner. The padlock must be open to edit this information. If the padlock is closed click on it and you will be prompted for an administrator username and password. This is not the LDAP server administrator. It is simply a user with administrator privileges on the local machine.
